Halloween in Delray Beach

After all we’ve been through this year, we finally have something to celebrate – Halloween! We will have to do things a little differently this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t put on a costume and have some fun. And you can be sure that Delray Beach interior designer Tiffany Woolley will be among the many folks in our community who will be getting into the spirit this Halloween.

Trick or Treating in Delray Beach

Not even Covid-19 can stop this town from offering some fun – and safe – Halloween festivities.

  •         Storefront Window Décor Contest

All month long you can tour the downtown area to take in a spellbinding collection of decorated storefronts. You can cast a vote for your favorite!

  •         Trick-Or-Treating on The Ave

October 31st, 11:30 am – 2 pm

Take the kids out for a safe afternoon of trick-or-treating in the open air along Atlantic Avenue. When they say that masks are required, they’re talking about the face coverings we are all wearing to help protect ourselves and our neighbors not costume masks.

Decorating at Home

One thing that is definitely safe to do, despite Covid-19, is decorate your house for the holiday. If you drive along Swinton Avenue, north of Atlantic Avenue, you will see that some city residents have unleashed the dragons! Others have a fun variety of spooks and spirits haunting their front yards. A house on NE 16th Street (between Swinton Avenue and NE 2nd Avenue) has a great display featuring two of the biggest spiders you have ever seen spinning their web.

If you are looking for ideas on how to decorate the inside of your house for Halloween, check out Martha Stewart’s website. You’ll find a cauldron-full of ideas – complete with instructions. Your options range from plaster hands and a haunted mirror with ghostly hands to a template for making bats that you can cluster above a mantel or across the refrigerator.

And, of course, if you want to decorate the inside of your house in order to make it the home of your dreams, contact Tiffany Woolley, one of the most sought-after interior designers in Delray Beach.
